"It's a good tale, a ripping yarn. I know the term makes some people close to the picture nervous, but, yes, it's a fairy tale. And it's a lovely one... STARDUST feels subversive every time it treats you like a grown-up. I can see kids of about 10 and up really falling for this movie and loving it, but I can also see adults rewatching this compulsively. It's a movie with a lot of little subtle pleasures that will pay off upon seeing them again".
