I agree xeno. The new trailer does make it look more interesting. It gives the story an entirely different dynamic than I thought it would have. Definately looking forward to it.

The first official trailer for Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi tale District 9 premiered last week in theaters attached to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. At the time, TriStar Pictures also spread the word on their viral sites D-9.com, MultiNationalUnited.com, MNUSpreadsLies.com and MathsFromOuterSpace.com!
Fast-forward a week later and you can now travel to MNUSpreadsLies to watch an alternate teaser trailer which reveals a better look at the alien along with subtitles to translate what the creature is saying to its human counterpart. Check out the link above to find out exactly what the aliens want.
Plot Concept: Based on Neill Blomkamp's short film Alive in Joburg, "District 9" depicts a fictional world where extraterrestrials have become refugees in South Africa.
District 9 will hit theaters August 14, 2009.

if search Neil Blomkamp on youtube you can watch the short he did on this which is really amazing, also his other shorts Terra Val and Yellow are ingenious not to mention the Halo commercial shorts since he was supposed to direct the movie.
This guy is going to give us some great shit in the future.
The question is, does the interrogator understand what the alien is saying?
Now I am even more interested in this film. It really raises the question of who are the real monsters, the aliens, or us?
