Chuck, great review!  I couldn't agree more with what you said. I feel like Billy Burke is. Much better actor then how he is being portrayed as Miles. Not sure if that's the writers/directors fault? But David Lyons is so dynamic with his acting its quite amazing!  Charlie has come a long way from the beginning, I'm liking her character development more and more and the series continues. I haven't really had many issues with this since I have undying faith in Kripke (being a huge supernatural fan) I just felt at the beginning the show needed to find its legs so to speaking. So I'm glad I didn't abandon it back then. March seems like a long ways but I think it'll be for the best!

Thanks JDK! I'm really looking forward to where this goes. You're right, they've totally found their legs.

Damn formating problems. Second post:

Just wanted to say great review. This show has come a long way, and I can't wait to see the next arc of the season now that technology is back in the picture. I'll be watching. Now if they could get the actor who plays Aaron to shed some pounds for realism's sake...

I dunno, tough-Charlie doesn't work, the dialogue between mom and daughter after reuniting was weak, combine that with the henchman's remark about being able to eat a peach all day long and you've got some terrible cliche writing that comes out comical and painful rather than tough or intimidating as I'm sure it's intended.  Monroe is a great character and the actor holds his own in every scene with the great Giancarlo Esposito who is easily the benchmark on this show.  Billy Burke is great but they don't give his character enough to work with so that he stands equal in showdowns against the likes of Neville and Monroe.

All in all I still tune in every week to see where it's going and it may yet find a way to jettison the baggage (garbage) and produce an interesting and exciting story.  It's ratings don't appear to be a problem and there are enough talented people behind the scenes that it has the potential to strengthen over the course of a season or 2.  I don't think it's as good as these reviews suggest but it's getting better.
