Sorry, Hanso, Charlie is still untolerable.  Just a terrible actress.

Silent Killer, I don't think you or your wife were paying particularly close attention on this one thing. The reason they were able to set off that explosion and have all the guards conveniently walk away was because . . . it was a setup all along. Nora's sister was intended to be rescued so that she could steal the necklace and bring it back. Myles should have seen right through that obvious setup, sure, but I wouldn't necessarily call that lazy writing.

@Ryodin - I have to disagree. I did think about that, and while she was complicit, you can't tell me that the plan was to let her get away, and then hope she could have gotten loose with the medallion, when they'd have had a shot at capturing her and Miles during a rescue, especially given Miles reputation for ruthlessness. You could kind of see it when the big bad turned back, and saw them getting away - he didn't look happy about it. I read it as her being complicit bait, but not them being wilfully incompetent.

Prima facie, what you're saying would make sense, if they weren't making the same sloppy mistakes in other episodes. I can't recall most of them now, but there's been one of those moments in every ep.

The one that leaps to mind is when Charlie went to kill the cop, because he was too well protected for any other killers to get through, but Miles was able to simply wander on into his house and stop her.

Not enough to ruin the show for me - it's rapidly becoming a favorite, but these moments take me out of the show.

Aaron really did mess up, but Mia’s double cross was very well played. No one in my office at DISH, me included, could have ever predicted that Monroe would end up with the pendant! The whole scenario was sneaky, underhanded, unexpected, and everything that the writers of Revolution should strive for in every episode. Ties That Bind was definitely firing on all cylinders and I can’t wait to see what happens on the next episode! I am at my mothers until Thanksgiving, so I have been racked with worry ever since I realized I never set it to record. But my wife said our DISH Hopper automatically records the big four networks during prime time anyway, so it will be waiting when I get home and I can enjoy my visit.
