The Review!
Lemme just say that I love Utena. It has such an awesome storyline, though this saga just doesn't do it as much justice as I'd like. I reccomend buying every Utena release they come out with, and soon you'll be like "WOW!!!"

It was clear and fine to me. I had absolutly no problems with it. The Japanese version and the English both.

The video was fine, but not phenomenal. Not like the Utena movie, but that's because the show itself was just plain animated not as good. It still came pretty crisp, but what i found VERY VERY annoying was how the screen 'shook' sometimes. I mainly noticed it during a duel in the very last episode on this disc, and if you are looking for it, it will come very noticible.

It could've been better, but that doesn't mean it's not horrible. It shows a nice picture of Utena, and in the background, the pastel like roses we see in the theme song, and other various spots in the show. The back is decent, though not enough screenshots as I'd like.... and I'm grateful for them to make it Region 0. (No this is the real version not the bootleg) I don't get why they didn't do that with the Utena movie....

Was icky. A boring still menu with no music or anything, with lots of options though. I don't like it's way of choosing a section though. I wish it could've been nicer.

There were previews, information, and lots of other stuff. But frankly, none of it was very good.

Utena is once again dueling to protect the freedom of her new friend Anthy, and must face whatever duels are challenged to her. Though she doesn't want to be caught up in these duels, she can't stand to see Anthy become a slave to her owner.

She must also then duel the very person she thinks was her prince from her childhood, which was the reason she strived to become so noble for.

Utena is downright awesome. Symbolic, exciting, and really leaves you thinking. No anime can really compare to this. Evangelion was boring to me compared to this show. If you watch every episode, wait until you see the last episode and your eyes will be wide open, with tears streaming down (at least for me). Only Utena could have built up such character development to trigger emotions. I just don't cry during movies. Period. Somehow Utena made me.

This show is A++++ all the way.
