The Review!
I listened to it in Japanese, though I did peak at the English occaisonally. The Japanese is very clear, and I heard much clearer songs then what I have heard before. The English is also fine, and to my great shock: had a really nice dub. I did not like Utena's dub from the Rose Collections at all, but this one came across really nice.

Well, it just plain looks great. Lines are clear, and I didn't see any rainbows, etc. This was a nice release, and the screen shaking and other problems from the Rose Collection were gone.

Packaging: I really like their new logo. Their old one looked so childish and didn't reflect the show at all. We get a nice picture of Utena and Anthy from the LD release on this one, and it has roses blending into the background, with the standard credits, blah blah.

Alright !! This menu is so much more awesome ! It has a nice video that starts playing then the menu continues from there (like the Movie release) and then the menu has the pictures of the characters from the other volumes of the LD release fade into one another, then with a nice video played behind all that. I have a feeling the next volumes will be the same, but without the video in the background, and a different one playing.

The menus has very clear and nicely colored buttons, and background music and everything. This is SO much better from the previous ones.

There's lots of them. Commercials of course, that usually start with that annoying and far too long 'US Manga Corps' CG logo, and then the commercials. They're OK, but there's also interviews, About Chiho Saito, etc. Nice bunch here.

This series takes a whole new wonderful turn here ! This show is just so amazingly awesome ! At this point I was in awe, after not having watched the Black Rose Saga for so long.

They used hard titles, but only for signs and titles, which was good. They even made the hard titles look like the original japanese text looked.

Their subtitles look MUCH MUCH nicer. I love these subtitles !!!!! But their song translations.... well.... they're very very different from my fansubs in some parts. I don't know which to believe so I'm going with this releases's.

Chapter points are extremely better from the RC's. There's an Intro, First Half, Second Half, Duel of the episodes, ending, then preview.

I love the chapter points before the duel, since I like to watch the duel's over and over and over, and this saved my from lots of fast forwarding.
