Riddick Clips: Ambush, Execute and Kill Everyone

Awe...

By Robert T. Trate     August 27, 2013
Source: MOVIES Coming Soon

Check out these three new clipsfrom the up coming Riddick. I started the conversation over on Mania’s Facebook page and wanted to open it here on the main site. Do you think it is necessary to see the second Riddick movie before seeing this new one? What about the cartoons as well?

The Plot: The latest chapter of the groundbreaking saga that began with 2000′s hit sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004′s The Chronicles of Riddick reunites writer/director David Twohy (A Perfect Getaway, The Fugitive) and star Vin Diesel (the Fast and Furious franchise, xXx). Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy.

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy.

Riddick features Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff and Dave Bautista.

Riddick arrives September 6th, 2013.

Looks like Pitch Black all over again but I do not care; I will see it in the theatre.

Looks like fun.

Yeah, I think I might actually have to go see this one.  Loved Pitch Black and I think it was a vastly overlooked sci-fi actioner.  I do have a small problem with this seemingly being a sort of Pitch Black do-over (maybe it only seems that way), but it does look cool.  I find Diesel's acting rather cheesy at times, but he's really made the Riddick character his own, and I like it.

Considering Karl Urban's character is in this one?  I believe it is wise to see CoR.  You may not like it much, but it is continuity..

this looks almost as awesome as Zilla's avatar.........almost......which means it's definitely a theatre-worthy experience for me!!

Thing is Zilla's avatar is just sexy, that said when I look at it, it doesn't have the same affect as the huge boobs that used to be there, oh wait sorry what was this thread about?
