Sandman should not be filmed. It's not one solid story, it's a collection of vast littler stories, with too many twists and turns, too much ambiguity and mystery, to turn into a big-budget hollywood film. Talking the way he does, Vaughn sounds like somebody who really doesn't understand how storytelling in comics actually works.

Effron for Spidey huh.... I'm crying a little on the inside.  I said it before and I'll say it again... PICK THE STORY UP WITH A MORE MATURE PETER IN NY... forget the origin, and DO NOT CAST ZACK EFFRON...  LISTEN TO THE FANS!!!  Sooooo aaaannnngryyyyy!  ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K, it's out of my system... the more I see of the animated Planet Hulk the more excited I get!  So that's good.

I can't imagine them actually using Zac efron as peter parker.. well.. I could. . They have done crap like that before.  I was thinking Jessie Eisenberg (Zombieland) fit the bill of peter parker fairly well.

Shadow... sounds awesome.  Best possible news I've heard out of the Spider-Man fiasco.  (Liked the Baldwin movie well enough, but this one sounds like it has the possibility to be off the hook!)

Judge Dredd... bring it on, too.  I enjoied the first one, but admittedly I've never followed JD closely.  I kind of suspected the original movie took it's liberties with the material, but I was none the wiser.

Efron for Spider-Man... don't believe this has a shred of credibility, but Efron as Peter is the least of my concerns for this movie.  Couldn't pick the kid out of a lineup, so I have no bias either way on him.  If he can do a great job, then sure.  (Just don't make this Spider-Man: the Musical, the Motion Picture.)

I doubt the Efron rumor is legit.  If it is true, they could probably do worse.  But not by a lot. Though, from what I hear, he can actually act. I just don't think they want someone with that much baggage to play the part. I think they'll go with someone who is known, but not a household name. Kinda like a pre-Iron Man RDJ.

NO! NO! NO!NO!N!O
If Efron is Cast as Spidey, I’m definitely actively out! AND going to do my best to disuade all my non geek friends from seeing it, and their friends. I will try to keep as much $$$ out of the coffers of Sony-Spider-Man-Brand-New-Day

Tis a sad day indeed for Spiderman fans...

Wiseguy I like ya, but REALLY, you have no problem with Efron as Parker...

I’m at a loss for words...

AND Captain America The movie should NOT have him enter present day, it should end with him being frozen in sea....

In my opinion, Zac Efron wouldn't be too horrible of a choice. Obviously people would complain about it, but realistically we could probably genetically create the perfect Peter Parker and someone will STILL have a problem with it. The kid is not a horrible actor, and a reboot requires someone who looks like a teenager. I'm not against the casting at all, even though just by looking at the rest of it I can tell it's total BS.

The Shadow: Looking at the script review I absolutely love it. It looks like they read my mind for their vision of the character. Mysterious, spooking like a Freddy Krueger working own the side of justice (his own brand). An ensemble cast of agents working loyally for their master. Brutal gunplay and violence. Pretty much what I've always had in my head. Best of all, it's nothing like the '94 Alec Baldwin version that was done in silly mode becasue they figured that's how you do these superhero type movies.

He could get away with an R-rating if he does this on a modest budget, which he defintely know how to do.

The Baldwin Shadow wasn't as bad as people want to claim it was although the "Shadow Cave" inclusion was admittedly unnecessary...From his work on MANTIS, I can definitely see Raimi doing an awesome job with this. Casting will be key.

CAP- I hope to God they don't just rehash the '90's movie plot because it's been done. I mean, fighting Red Skull in the past and then the future is OK but no robot duplicates or old men who remember him from the past.  I have no problem skipping 60's and 70's Cap as I basically just read it in the 90's anyway...

I don't like that Spiderman rumor, not one bit.  I think I would definately skip future Spidey movies were that rumor prove to be true.
