Right Stuf Grabs DVD Rights for ARIA
Date: Friday, May 02, 2008The Aria the Animated series and manga storyline may have ended last month but it will live onward on DVD. Distributor Right Stuf and its Nozomi Entertainment shingle has grabbed the license agreement to distribute the first box set of 13 episodes on September 30. Since the anime lasted for four different seasons, expect the next installments Aria the Natural, Aria the OVA and Aria the Origination to follow shortly thereafter on DVD. The sets will come with Japanese audio and English sub-titles.
Tokyopop is expected to publish the 12 volumes after grabbing the rights from Mag Garden.
