THE LOS ANGELES TIMES covers the disappearance of that icon of fanboy dispute, the comic book letters column. In the wake of DC Comics' recent announcement that the columns would be phased out, the article notes that Marvel is "inclined to do the same."

Marvel's Joe Quesada says, "There may be a time when someone sends in something that is incredibly touching or valid and needs to see print somewhere, somehow. Otherwise, the Web is so much better."
