New Line has set Rob Corddry (WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS and HAROLD & KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY) to star in PROJECT A.
The action-comedy centers on a man who is trained by the U.S. government as a Cold War experiment to become the world's biggest jerk. Etan Cohen (TROPIC THUNDER) wrote the script.
Ben Still and Stuart Cornfeld will produce. No director is attached to PROJECT A yet.
The project has beenin development for several years. Coddry told The Hollywood Reporter, "Ben and Stuart gave it to me to read years ago, and it's always been the first thing I ask my agents and managers about. They've always said, 'Go open a movie first!' "
