It's kind of a shame to see Michael Keaton go from one of Hollywoods best actors (just my opinion) to being black balled all the way down to taking roles House didn't want, and the February release doesn't help the comeback he so richly deserves and is so unjustly robbed of. All because Warner wouldn't give him 10 mil for what he probably knew was going to be a shitty Burton-less Batman 3. F you Warners and F you Burton, your movies suck now anyway. Wait, what were we talking about?

I was looking forward to Oblivion which opens in April more than Elysium but hopefully they'll both be great.
The beginning of August isn't a great release date but it isn't the worst either. I felt that Guardians of the Galaxy would be the first huge August blockbuster in 2014. But films like District 9 and Tropic Thunder opened in August to pretty good results.
Now RoboCop moving to Feb. 7 smells more like a studio burying a film unless they open it during a holiday weekend. DareDevil did decent numbers but most films go to Feb to die a quiet death
