It's like Skynet hired a marketing consulting group then asked The Umbrella Corporation to throw in ideas.

I think it looks great. Can't jump to any conclusions about the film based on this though
Love ED-209, totally badass. Hope he malfunctions at some point as well and blows away some innocent bystander
Saw this over the week man it looks damn good hope the don't eff this up.
From things I've read I'm not sure we're in for the same satire. But how could you avoid it when you have ED-209 patrolling our streets.
It seems to me they want to play it straight. I'm not sure if they should try to duplicate Verhoeven's dark humor and have the film compared to the original or just go for a new take which is what I'm assuming
Agreed with Wiseguy. Take the story and make it your own. Just don't "Burton" it and we'll keep the torches/pitchforks sheathed for now.
If they weren't going to throw in any dark humor, I'm sure they wouldn't be using the ED-209 (Hell yeah!), which looks very true to the original design. Verhoeven practically invented the futuristic TV ads in his movies, so in no way is this a rip off of Skynet or Umbrella - it's classic Verhoeven.
After seeing this, I'm looking forward to it now...
Ya know, I saw coming attraction for Total Recall and it looked good.........maybe Robocop will be good too, hopefully...
Just for the record....Dont like 3d, remakes or blueray, or Special editions....
