What They Say
The Robotech Defense Forces plan an all-out counter attack against the Robotech Masters. The hope is to catch the invaders off guard and achieve victory before the Earth is destroyed. The RDF finds an ally in Zor, a captured enemy pilot who turns out to be an important piece of the puzzle behind the secrets of Robotechnology.
An intimate chapter in the Robotech Saga - one of the most popular and longest running animated science fiction serials of all time. The Review!
So far Southern Cross has been non-stop action. But in this volume, the action reaches an all time high. How can you resist?
Audio: What rhymes with mono?
Video: Typical quality. Not all that sparkly, but very nostalgic. And if you like that, you'll love this disc.
Packaging: There is a great picture of Marie on the front and a picture of the Ajax on back. Pretty neet to look at.
Menus: Fair. Pretty much the same as the last disc.
Extras: No extras.
Content: With Zor now a member of the Southern Cross, while at the same time being a spy for the Masters, expect some scenes of hilarity and action.
A New Recruit (B): Dana gets aquainted with Zor while at the same time helping Zor remember his roots.
Triumvilate (B+): Zor remembers more about his past when he reveals to Dana and Bowie the Flower of Life.
Clone Chamber (B+): The first attack on the Masters begins! And Marie is on the front lines. Meanwhile, Musica is troubled by her thoughts of Bowie.
Love Song (B): Bowie finds out that his godfather, Emerson, is chosen to lead the next assault on the Masters. Meanwhile, Dana tries to help a fellow soldier fall in love with Nova Satori. And Marie is reminded of how terrible Sean can be.
The Hunters (B+): Rolf Emerson leads the assault against the Masters while the Master develop a new Bioroid. Meanwhile, Louie's special game techniques are put to the test.
Mind Game (A): The 15th Squadron lead in inward assault against the Master's ship along with Zor. However, Zor is now back under the control of the Masters.
Overall, these episodes have a lot of action and character development. This has to be the best disc of the Masters saga yet.
