Troy was the first thing to come to my mind also, ElBaz...I never would have thought anybody could make such a violent, awesome story so utterly painful to watch.  I am with Wise on not hating Brett Ratner, but this take on mythology does absolutely nothing for me.

Ratner needs to make anothe Rush Hour.  Do stuff he is good at.

Anyway Hercules is the ROMAN name not the Greek...

In Greek he is Herakles!

 I do not mind Brett Ratner at all. He has made some very good films (Red Dragon, Rush Hour 1&2, After the Sunset, Prison Break), so I don't get the hate. X-Men 3 was NOT his fault. besides, I dind't hate X-Men 3 either. He knows his action. This could be very good.
