The coming SCORPION KING project isn't the only film that Universal has for wrestler The Rock, a.k.a. Dwayne Johnson.
According to Variety columnist Michael Fleming, the Rock is already attached to a project called HUNTING BRONZE, an action-comedy written by first time scribe Joseph C. Muscat. The columnist describes the project as being a MIDNIGHT RUN-like comedy about a bounty hunter who is trying to capture a fugutive before that person is killed by a cop gone bad.
In addition, an untitled pitch that will be written by Brian Helgeland (A KNIGHT'S TALE) may also star the Rock, though that isn't a done deal. Helgeland isn't directing, though he may produce.
