Rock On

John Debney might not be a barbarian, but he certainly has the stamina of one when it comes to scoring films. With over 60 pictures to his credit (including nine from last year), Debney is the first composer Hollywood turns to for "popcorn" pictures. Some of them are forgettable (LOST AND FOUND, ELMO IN GROUCHLAND), some of them are cute (DICK, THE PRINCESS DIARIES) and a few are truly inspired (JIMMY NEUTRON, SPY KIDS).
"I'm known in the business as someone who's pretty fast, and can get the job done," Debney says. "Last year was really busy. Now I'm hoping that it's less about quantity, and more about quality."
