Years after creating what he calls the unsuccessful cinematic spin-off SHOCK TREATMENT, ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW creator Richard O'Brien is revealing that he's half finished on a direct sequel to his musical stage play and subsequent cult movie. While talking to the New York Post, O'Brien revealed some details of the story saying that it would be set nine months after the end of the film with a pregnant Janet giving birth. O'Brien explains, 'I think we all know whose baby it's got to be at the end of the day. It would be churlish not to make it the child of Dr. Frank N. Furter. There's a lot of good stuff to be wrung out of having a dysfunctional father like him - he's not going to have a conservative upbringing.'
O'Brien is toying with several title ideas for the film, saying, 'I quite like 'Double Feature,' and 'Rocky Horror Shows His Heels' is kind of cute. 'Rocky Horror: The Second Coming' was suggested, but that's got a slightly grubby connotation attached to it.'
