L.A. Times Blog confirms that the reason Seth Rogen landed the 'Green Hornet' gig is because studios are looking for a lighter take on superheroes that contrasts with recent dark and moody films.
They're also reporting that Rogen is lobbying for 'Kung Fu Hustle' director and star Stephen Chow to play Kato in the movie.
