So they're buying the movie well before the book is published.

And I'm sorry but "This bug's bite turns ordinary people into crazed serial killers." just doesn't get me excited.

"crazed serial killers"? So, they go on slowly stalking and killing their victims, mostly never being caught? That doesn't sound very exciting. Sounds like a 10hr movie. It takes 2hrs + just to track down 1 serial killer (Zodiac) and sometimes they don`t even catch them. This sounds a little too 28 Days Later for me. They better hope that the book sells.

Isn't there a movie called Infested? It was a staight to DVD movie, made by the same guy who wrote the adaptation of Cronenberg's movie, A History of Violence. Check IMDB, and a have a look and see.

Yeah, Infected is right. That dude is infected, with "ugly".

Yeah, the "crazed serial killer" aspect loses it for me.

AlpineWoods, IMDB actually shows two other movies already called Infested, both of which look equally craptastic. Not that it matters - titles can be used over and over again.

That is one of the lamest pictures I have ever seen! The sculpted two day beard and head stubble with the "menacing" hooded eyebrow look makes me laugh. How in the hell can a bug bite turn someone into a "crazed serial killer." Serial killers aren't just created with a snap of the fingers, but become monsters because of what happens to them throughout their lives. Maybe the author didn't want to make them zombies because then the book would be like every other zombie scenario we've seen and read in the last few years.

I mean really.. the picture is unnecessary. No need for the tough guy look. Authors aren`t tough. How many authors besides maybe Ernest Hemingway in his prime can you name that would kick somebodies ass?

Right you be, snallygaster. There are two movies called Infested on IMDB. And right again you be. Movie titles have been used for other movies in the past. Examples include Bad Company, Man of the House,
Black Sheep, and so on.

Hemingway had a manly reputation and look, but have you ever heard is voice? Not the deep, burly, manly-man voice, but much higher, gentler, and quieter than one would expect.
