Witha modest budget like that I think it is safe to say that this will be one of his Imax docu/adventures...... he started with the underwater documentories then he added some fiction and adventure, this will be the next step. Man, the guy is obsessed with the big blue..... In about 15 years I will not be suprised to see Cameron show up on the red carpet with a peg leg, eyepatch, and a hook for a hand, mumbling something about a great white whale.

Cameron sucks harder than an Oreck XL. It's hard to believe that this is the guy who gave us Terminator, T2 and Aliens. The success he had with the turd burger Titanic ruined him.

Haahahah, incredibly clever!

Cameron is a great filmmaker. I'm looking forward to this!

#2 - phillipej, Though I think you have a great sense of humor, I can't see how you can say Cameron sucks. He is an amazing director. And I liked Titanic, though I know I must be in the minority since it only made a couple BILLION dollars.

Cameron is one of those rare directors who can make make money with quality pictures for our jaded, sensory-overloaded youth so he can make important, ground-breaking masterpieces that explore the cutting edge of science. We should all be very thankful that he's around and has found a way to have his cake and eat it too.

I'd just like him to actually really make a movie, instead of all of these false starts and "pre-production" reports.
