It was ok, fair to middling. This is not a surprise.
Didn't the colony on LV-426 get nuked when the reactor went boom at the end of Aliens? Oh well, still sounds cool.
This was a good episode, definitely one of the better of the season. Good pacing, excellent action and relationship drama was kept minimally to one of two scenes. I also enjoyed the flashback to the island. If the writers could keep that format, then this show could move from middling to good.
Agreed. Dexter has gone on way too long. I still feel this season is better than five and six, though. There are plenty of shows that ended on top: Battlestar Galactica, Breaking Bad and others.
Hmm, I don't know if this story is so much less epic as you think. The story of the Necromancer in Mirkwood is the big play going on between what is written in the Hobbit. That was kind of a big deal because it being the first time Sauron regained form, and the elves and wizards united against him to fight.
Another big deal is seeing this movie in 3-D is imperative. Peter Jackson is doing things with the format that have not been done before along the lines of Avatar. Its worth a gander.
DarthBob, did you never read the Dark Knight Returns? Or even the Knightfall and and more recent storyline where Dick took over the cowl? Come on dude, Bruce took a break from being Batman quite a few times in continuity.
Also, everyone seems to hate on the whole breaking of the back thing. The doctor in the Pit said he had a dislocated disc in his spine. That is not a broken back. Of course the recovery time would be marginally longer for a normal person, but this is Batman....
InnerSanctum, I somehow doubt the show will stray too far. Also, the current storyline in the comics is really good. You should pick it up. Last 20 issues are awesome.
Um, that scene looks like the prison was attacked already. Does this mean the group stays in the prison after Woodbury strikes?
Grrr. this show frustrates me. All the stuff with Diggle and Oliver, and fights are excellent. Then we get to crap family drama and girl/boy nonsense with Laurel and that rich loser. This episode was a C. I hope they do something with the Huntress. The chesse factor is too high. It seems this is evern more soapy than Smallville. At least Smallville had more heart.

So this will change Spiderman history for a year? I think it was way too hypeish. Why not do something organic that actually changes the character instead of focusing on a villain for 12 issues? I believe superhero deaths turn out to be crappy storylines. Death of Superman? Death of Captain America? Not the best reads. Idk. I won't be picking up Spidey issues anytime soon. I'll be reading Bendis' X-Men and Remender's Avengers titles. Blah.
