They only remake movies to sell copies of the originals (which is always the far superior product anyway). Instead of commericals they make a 30 million dollar movie to remind you how good the original was and why you should go out and buy it.

Bite me Lucas and 20th Century Fox... I have my Video tapes and I am cool that! Besides what won;t stop him from releaseing eveything with a Chewbacca head (ala Planet of the Apes) in 2008 when his show hits. Lucas releases everything (over and over again) when he needs a cash boost for his next project (the 2 star wars tv shows)...

All right I got this friend of friend in Hollywood Land. The Star Wars series is in the stages of shooting test footage. Now my buddy has a "friend" is "very close" to the project and said the story that he was shooting was about a Han Solo type Padawan who has been on the run and recieves wisdom from his fallen Master via a blue ghost. I hope this "friend" of a friend story is true because if the story is about Luke growning up... Lucas will be, well, dancing on the coffin that he already nailed shut...

I am just a fan of good stories and sport does tend to have good stories. I like most sports but football is the top one for me, it can be like a good team book, people getting hurt and rising to the occasion, rivalries can be looked at as fictional good vs evil. Stuff like that makes me like sports in general; books, comics, movies and "good" TV shows evoke those same feelings for me as sports tends to. Just my two old coppers....
