Romero's DEAD to Close Vegas

George A. Romero's LAND OF THE DEAD has been chosend to close the CineVegas Film Festival on June 18 at the Palms in Las Vegas. Romero will also receive the fest's 2005 Vanguard Director Award.
The film stars Simon Baker, Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento, Robert Joy and John Leguizamo. Universal Pictures will release the film nationwide on June 24.
