Warner Brothers has released three brief interview clips of Michael Emerson (Person of Interest, Lost) discussing his work as the voice of the Joker in BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, PART 2.
They have also included new images from the film of The Joker, as well as an image of 8-time Emmy Award winning dialogue director Andrea Romano conducting the first-ever DCUA-specific recording session via SKYPE with Michael Emerson (photo by Gary Miereanu).
BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, PART 2, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies, will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on January 29 as a Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD, On Demand and for Download. The PG-13 film is produced by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation.

I actually thought it was Bruce Wayne dressed as the Joker. WTF? DC Animation has always been their bread and butter... If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Where is Bruce Timm when you need him???
I think they are trying to approximate the look of the original Frank Miller comic....I could be wrong.
Obviously they are going for Frank Millers look and i cannot wait for this!! I have not watched part 1 yet because i wanted to watch them together of course. But i am a huge fan of Frank Millers masterpiece and i cannot wait for the Superman/Batman showdown.
I haven't seen the movies, but I've watched trailers. I don't like the animation. It's very flat and lifeless. It doesn't compare to the animation in the 1990's Warner Brothers series. Miller's comic book artwork was some of the best stuff I've seen (in a comic), quite avante garde. The best animated batman I've watched recently is in a short film that aired on the Cartoon Network. You can watch it on youtube...search...batman of shanghai
Maybe someone can fill me in on why The Joker is built like Schwarzenegger?
