Rosenberg to Adapt BBC's SECOND SIGHT

Variety's reporting that Universal Pictures is set to adapt the British thriller series Second Sight, which aired on BBC in 1999. This is the same series which starred Clive Owen in his first break out role and featured quite a few well known co-stars from across the pond. The studio has set scribe Craig Rosenberg to adapt the series into screenplay form. Rosenberg is also venturing into the world of directing by leading the psychological thriller The Panopticon for producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. "Sight" the film will be produced by Angry Films' Don Murphy and Susan Montford.
Plot Concept: Owen starred as homicide detective Ross Tanner, who leads an elite unit that tackles high-profile murder cases while suffering from a rare degenerative eye disease that causes hallucinations and increasing blindness.
