Katherine Heigl (ROSWELL) will co-star in THE RINGER, the Johnny Knoxville-led movie now shooting in Austin, Texas. Executive produced by the Farrelly brothers (THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY), written by Ricky Blitt and directed by Barry Blaustein, THE RINGER sees Knoxville impersonating a mentally challenged athlete so he can compete in the Special Olympics to pay off a debt owed by his grandmother. Heigl gets to play the girlfriend of Knoxville's character.
