Im surprised Meghan Fox is that smart to realize that playing a female lead hero is doom for anyones career. Fan boys will just drool over her and no one wil take her serious. Its interesting as I think it was  wise guy,duggernt or gauley boy who predicted they would go after her to do the role.

And why does everyone always refer to the Wonder Woman TV series when describing this character? Last I checked, Wonder Woman can fly on her own. She doesn't need an invisible jet. And about the lasso... change the power of the weapon! Who says it has to make people tell the truth?? Just make a few adjustments! I think Megan would have been good for this part, but oh well...

I would have rather seen Fox as WW as opposed to Biel but that's as far as I'll go.  As to 70's series reference, I saw a little boy spin around, like WW did on that show, just this morning.  The average moviegoer is more likely to at least have parents to instill that image.  Remember back when Sandra Bullock turned down the role because she refused to wear the costume?  That said, I agree the lasso is lame... 

Box office has no bearing on the quality of a film or its director. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull = $786,636,033 world wide and also manages to out gross Iron Man domestically. Is there anyone here who is actually going to call KotCS a better movie than Iron Man?

But I concede that Hobbs is indeed correct that no studio is going to change a director whose films bring in that much loot. Doesn't matter if they suck or not because this industry more than any other is ruled by the all powerful $.

And obviously it doesn't matter what Raimi looks like. I was only trying to point out that there are a lot of people with questionable talent who seem to manage a career in Hollywood.
