Actor Brandon Routh told SCI FI Wire that he hopes to be filming the sequel 'Superman: The Man of Steel' by this time next year. He's been in contact with his 'Superman Returns' director and discussed project at various times.
"Bryan keeps me up [to date] with what's going on, and I think he'll get a script together later in the year, and we'll begin filming early next year," Routh said but also cautioned, "Of course, that's my timeline, not anyone else's."
Singer has wrapped work on his fact-based pic 'Valkyrie' which stars Tom Cruise as a high-ranking German officer involved in a plot to kill Adolf Hitler.
