Can you blame people from being skeptical about Nolan's ability to do fantastical?

As much as I loved his Batman movies, I have to agree that with all the talk about not using certain villains and just the style of the movie, alot of the fantastical that exist with Batman was taken away in his movies. Granted, he has been more grounded in reality than the other JL members. But even then, Batman has always had this grandiose, imposing presence to him. That did not come through in any of the movies, IMO (maybe a bit in BB). Its correct that in the end its a man in a batsuit prancing around the city. However, I still feel the movies don't have enough of "The Batman" in them.

Wanted 2 : The first  movie wasn't great but I have to admit I enjoyed it for what it was, which was essentially action genera trash and I would enjoy a second one and hope it goes through without Fox coming back from the dead. Agree with Miller it was nice to have one of the main characters dead and not back for a second film.

JLA Nolan : I would enjoy seeing him do it but to be honnest I don't think he would be all that interested in directing it. maybe, producing and advising but not directing it becasue he does seem to be more suited for realist type story telling. No, Batman isn't absolute realism however it still has a realist feel to it that I can't imagine seeing in the other characters or the story telling of a JLA film.

Superman Nolan: It wouldn't surprise me to the see the other Nolan stepping in to direct esspecially if the studio made it so it had to be a package deal. Let the other Nolan take the directors seat as long as Chris signed on to Produce which I think he would be willing to do so his brother could get the job. Putting the Nolan name on it would ensure more people comeing to the theater to watching it. And hell the younger brothers work on wrttting the two batman films would make me willing to give him a chance in the big seat.

Captain America: Its nice to see this film finally moving forward honestly I'm shocked its taken this long to get going. I mean they've been plaining it for what feels like forever.

If you like Memento, did you ever watch his original indie film Following?  It was a little slower moving, but an amazing story and interesting bit of film making.

So i guess the race will be on....Avengers or Justice League....which will reach us first??

Also, i personally didnt like Wanted and dont care to see a sequel....What i do want to see is the actual comic properly adapted because it was a pretty cool mini series!!

I love what Bruce Timm has done with the Justice League animated series/films. I may be in the minority on this one one,but maybe JL should remain as an animated feature instead of a live action film.  Disney and Dreamworks are doing pretty good with their CGI releases, maybe Warner/DC should try a full length 3D/CGI Justice League for theaters-PS..have Alex Ross do the drawings.

FInancially, wouldn't it be more costly for the studio to have to hire actors, stunt people, designers, camera crews, make-up and effects artists, as well as pulling permits for location shooting?

Justice League rumor totally makes sense.  Warner Bros.  is obviously waiting to see how well Avengers does in the theaters.  If Avengers proves that a Super-Hero group movie can be a money maker, I definately see a Justice League movie geing into production.  This last bit is just my fan-boy wish: but I want it to be Alex Ross like in the look of the Justice League.  Done right it would not be cheesy looking but pure awsumness.

I have seen stuff like this online that look great: "World's finest Heroes Superman and Batman" and the Greyson fan-made trailers are good examples.

If Nolan decides to make JL as dark and brooding as Batman, then his involvement in this movies is a bad thing.  However, if Nolan sticks to his faithul adaptation of characters as he did with Batman, then JL might be the most awesome movie ever made, as that was what made TDK such a success.  Quite frankly, I have to give Nolan the benefit of the doubt to this point, and so I'm hoping (and expecting) that he will hit it out of the park as long as he is involved.  (Of course, this is all rumor at this point, so who knows what will happen.)

As far as mixing Batman & the rest of the JL characters... I couldn't see someone like Green Lantern being included in a Batman movie.  However, including a character like Batman in a JL movie... absolutely!

I'm getting a vibe that none of the people listed last week trying out for Captain America were acceptable. Otherwise, they would have been a leak to the press that they had found thier lead.

I hope DC loses the rights to Superman or has to pay out obcene amounts of money to the family. If you or I stole something from someone we'd have to atone for it. And it wouldn't matter how much money we made from that property or how much we developed it. The same rules that apply to the common man should apply to a corporation.

If you steal, or cheat you should be punished. DC should be no different.

Skeptical about Nolan and the JLA. TDK is one of my favorite movies of all time. But the real world aproach would not work well with this franchise.
