Graeme Revell's publicist has confirmed to musicfromthemovies.com that the New Zealand-born composer has been signed to score AEON FLUX, the action adventure starring Charlize Theron. Revell is the fourth composer associated with this project - the first one was Theodore Shapiro, who was signed to it but never wrote anything before he was replaced by Reinhold Heil and Johnny Klimek, the German composer duo behind recent scores like RUN LOLA RUN, LAND OF THE DEAD, and THE CAVE.

It has not been stated if any of Heil and Klimek's music will remain in the picture. Revell has recorded parts of his score with a string orchestra in Los Angeles last weekend.

AEON FLUX opens on 2 December and is directed by Karyn Kusama of GIRLFIGHT fame. The film is based on an animated series that aired on MTV.

Sorry, but Graeme Revell is really the bottom of the barrel. His music and orchestrations really deliver nothing memorable or groundbreaking. I hate to admit it, but film scores are getting progressively worse as the years go by.
