and wolfgangs films just keep getting worse--Nothing good since In the Line Of Fire-So I guess he chickened out of Doing Batman Vs Superman--The original was so bad- like Oceans 11 was --maybe it would be a good remake--Its good to see Dreyfuss--Spielberg should follow up Close Encounters

I don't think he chickened out of Batman vs Superman...that was a studio decision. They wanted to go with new installments in each series instead. A better choice in my opinion.

The Batman vs. Superman thing was mutual. He did not want to go up against both franchises, since they were going to try and re-invent and re-envigorate each one. He did express interest in helming it down the line, once both franchises are established. That'd be kinda cool. I'm still a little skeptical about the new Superman though.

YEAH BUT even George Clooney said The Perfect Storm didnt work--and Troy was ok even though it was a tad laughable at Parts. And I love Kurt and both Escape from LA and New York but he could have played it better. And he did say he wanted to put B v S on hold to do Troy. It was not just the Studio.. They need a B V S flick that is leads to the JLA --make it 3 parts Worlds Finest--Intro Jonn JOnzz and tie in GL as well. Then Brave and the Bold then JLA---first 2 introduce characters --final one All out Battle.

*sigh* Lets take a well done classic and remake it. Hollywood needs an influx of new writters. I guess they are at the same point as the patent office was a century ago...thinking everything has been invented and no more patents would ever be needed. We shall see.

What's the oligatory time frame a producer must wait before remaking a movie? 20 years? Couldn't we just shorten that to six months and remake crappy movies right after they're released? Or better yet, why not remake the movie while it's in the script stage? Oh yeah, that's right - that'd mean making the movie good the 1st time...And we can't have that.
