Marvel Comics has announced that they have signed penciller Michael Ryan into an exclusive three-year contract. "I'm pretty excited," reports the penciller of NEW X-MEN: ACADEMY X. "It's great knowing the only place I want to work wants me working only for them!" The company will continue to use his talents illustrating NEW X-MEN for the foreseeable future. "I hope I'm doing it justice," Ryan adds.
"Michael shouldn't be so humble about his art," Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada is quick to note. "Marvel recognized his talent, as have the fans, and it rocks. We don't want him anywhere else but here!"
Past Marvel credits for Ryan include IRON MAN, CAPTAIN MARVEL, SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN and MYSTIQUE.
