In an interview by Scott Collura carried in the current CINESCAPE magazine, QUEEN OF THE DAMNED director Michael Rymer talked about working with the late Aaliyah on her last motion picture, and how her brother helped Rymer finish his sister's final performance.

"Aaliyah, she's great in the film," Rymer told us. "She is the Queen of the Damned, [but] she's only in about half of it. [Still] she's certainly very strong in it."

Helping flesh out her strong presence in the film is Aaliyah's brother. "We didn't complete all her ADR, her looping," revealed Rymer. "So we actually got her brother, who had similar vocal qualities, to sort of supplement some of the consonants. Just so it's a little more."
