Sackhoff Stays on BIONIC WOMAN

She was cast in the pilot episode for NBC's BIONIC WOMAN as bad bionic woman Sarah and nemesis to Jamie Sommers. It makes sense that she was brought on board the show mainly because the pilot for it was shot in Vancouver (same place that her other show, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, is shot.) and of course the friendship she has with the executive producer. David Eick, executive producer of both "Bionic" and "Battlestar", also had a hand in selecting her.

Late yesterday, a deal was reached between NBC/Universal and Katee Sackhoff on keeping her as a recurring character for the show.

I only watched the first few episodes of BSG, but I never licked her character. She's a fine actress, though.

I licked her character - she tasted like vanilla. (sorry almost - couldn't resist) It will be interesting to see her in this. I'm not a real big fan of Starbuck on BSG (I do like the show though). The 4 minute preview out there for the show looks great.

So, Starbuck is a "recurring" character now, not a regular? I missed that news...

I licked her character too, but she tasted more like sweat and herbal essence. Anyway, she was good as Starbuck. Some didn`t like her because they made Starbuck a chick, but she was pretty cool as the tough badass pilot. I wonder if she`s just going to do both shows. I mean BSG only has this season left so its perfect as BW is only just starting.

I can also definitely see her playing an evil bitch.

And given Starbuck's status at the end of last season, there's nothing to say she won't be in much of the next BSG season.

I didn't even know David Eick was producing Bionic Woman. Now I'm really looking forward t that series. Bet Sackhoff will kick ass the evil Bionic.

Oops I meant like. I guess I won't edit that now.
I guess character is what their calling it now a days, if you know what I mean.

Is Oscar Goldman or Steve Austin involved at all? If so Seth Rogan should play Oscar.

Having a reduced recurring role on both shows should be no problem. The bigger paychecks from Bionic Woman should be nice.

At the end of BSG when they find earth it will be infested with Bionic Women--sex dols for everyone.
