I knew Daniel Day Lewis was going to walk away with that one and rightly so, his performance was incredible...
I was hoping that Emile Hirsch would win but that was a far stretch that he would, never the less Into The Wild was my other favorite movie this year or should I say my top movie this year...

Daniel Day-Lewis is the shit but he reminded me too much of the "butcher" from Gangs of New York in this one. Not sure if he won for Gangs but if he didn't then this should make up for it.

Did they actually cross the picket lines or was this some side show announcement? Weren't there rumblings the Actors weren't going to congratulate each other for being masters of the universe and piss off the writers by attending these reward shows?

Michael C. Hall and Glenn Close should have won. I'm sorry, but I didn't think the last season of The Sopranos was all that good in a lot of ways. I'm not saying the leads weren't good, but I don't think they deserved the awards this year.

Last I heard the actors and writers were standing side by side so the SAG Awards were never in threat. There are a great deal of actors on the Writer's Strike picket line, many big name ones too.

The Writer's Guild allowed the SAG awards an exception for their show. Therefore, there were writers working the show. The SAGs are usually are more reliable way of predicting the Oscars than the Golden Globes.

Another tv snoozer unless it's shown with all the stars making their speeches and doing dumb things to get noticed.

Agreed with WesSmith on all counts.

BSG has the best ensemble and best actors on TV. It's criminal that they've been excluded. And there's no way in hell that female actress from American Gangster even approached the quality of acting of that little girl in an amazing film like "Atonement". I'd say best picture should go to either "Michael Clayton" or "Atonement"; they both are so much better than "There Will Be Blood" (which was still quite good) and the awfully miserable, pointless, silly "No Country For Old Men".
