Sam Raimi sat down with Ryan Rotten to discuss 30 DAYS OF NIGHT which hits theaters today. Despite the fact that Sam Raimi has absolutely no directing gigs lined up, he still has a busy schedule as a producer alongside Rob Tapert and childhood friend Bruce Campbell with Ghost House Productions. Also brought up in the interview is the discussion of Ghost House's early production goals which coincide with Raimi's own early Hollywood years, making low budget horror films with a good story. For a man who didn't like horror films until being inspired by another horror icon, George A Romero, Raimi has certainly lent his own contributions into the genre with the EVIL DEAD series. What was it like returning to the genre after so many years handling Spidey?
