Josh Friedman, creator of THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, has indicated to the Futon Critic that the show will premiere between the 3-hour planned event of 24 on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 8/7:00 CST. The next adventure of Jack Bauer begins Sunday, January 13, 2008 with a 2 hour start at 8/7:00 CST and ends their official premiere on Monday at 9/8:00 CST.

Monday, January 14, 2008.

8/7:00 CST: SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES

9/8:00 CST: 1 Hour 24 premiere ends.

Plot Concept: Takes place after the events depicted in Terminator 2: Judgment Day and follows Sarah Connor (Lena Headey, 300), a modern warrior and loving single mom to 15-year-old son John (Thomas Dekker, "Heroes").

So 2 hr event on Sunday and then 3 more episodes on Monday plus Sarah Connor? What will FOX do with the regional news casts on Monday? Their programming never runs past 10pm.

I think they mean 2 hours on Sunday and 1 hour on Monday with a 1 hour episode of Sarah Conner on Monday.

So we lose an hour of the 24 premiere for the Sarah Conner Chronicles? Yeah, that's a fair trade. I have such low expectations for that show.

This show idea keeps getting worse and worse for me. I will watch pilot. What is this going to be a drama? Flash on a site sucks.

Say what you will abot the show, but at least Fox is giving it the best shot possible by placing it around the 24 premerie which is the network's biggest show and in my opinion the most awesome show (tied with Heroes). If being placed with Jack doesn't get this show off on the right foot I don't know what will. I am sill curious to see how this show will play out, but I will give it a shot.

I'm not thrilled about losing the 4-hour block premiere of 24 for this show either, but I will at least give the pilot episode a shot.

So Fox is putting both shows in the time slots belonging to The Simpsons and Family Guy? This says Fox has no faith in CHRONICLES and its already obvious they are wanting out of 24 so put them both in time slots where long running shows have a large devoted fan base and piss those fans off 1 week while a few weeks later they begin bouncing around 24 and CHRONICLES time slots even though they have good ratings. And then FOX announces the cancellation of both shows due to creative differences or some load of shit. But Kiefer will probably get a 5 picture deal with Fox to keep him from complaining about the way the company is run. Although if sara lands in Detroit they could buy the rights to ROBOCOP and throw him in the storyline.

So they are putting SC Chronicles up against Heroes? Whose bright idea was that? Or is 24 against Heroes?

A friend of mine saw the pilot, both her and her boyfriend thought it was hot. Unfortunately, if I had to choose between Heroes and SCC, Heroes will win.
