Saturn Exclusive: Next TOMB RAIDER info confirmed

While chatting up several projects with CINESCAPE magazine at the 28th annual Saturn Awards, Paramount Pictures president Sherry Lansing confirmed what was just a rumor a few weeks ago. TOMB RAIDER 2 is getting going soon, and Jan DeBont is in fact the director.
"That's starting to shoot in a matter of weeks and it's going to be released next summer," Lansing said. "Jan DeBont is directing it."
That confirmed news counters reports a week or so back in the trades saying DeBont was interested but then backed away from the project.
