According to Bloody Disgusting, various writers have been tapped to write different scripts for SAW 4. They say that it is possible that as many as four writers are currently working on the script.

Actor Tobin Bell recently was quoted saying that he has signed on for not only SAW4, but for SAW 5 as well.

Considering the success the previous installments have had, this doesn't come as much of a surprise. The big question is can they keep up the current speed of production while keeping the budget as low as previous films.

Saw...man i hope they dont lose their magic for these movies...I mean I think its kind of cool they come out quick, but at the same time, the peeps out there may get a little bored from them..maybe, I dunno, IMHO...I liked all of them..so far...but the 1st one..damn, I thought was so well written and I have not said that since the days of Keyser Soze...

Dude, you really must be in love with me, to call me out for no reason.
Anyway, I do like the all the Saw flicks. I liked the 1st one the best, but they all have that same sort of chemistry to them. Major, you`re spot on about the first one.

Jamesdalton is... well I was going to come back with something, but why bother. His name is jamesdalton.

Saw? Magic? The first one was kinda bearable. But the second one? That was crap! Sorry. if they would have killed the girl the film would have never worked.

Saw 4 ,Saw 5 this sounds a little pre -mature I hope the studio isnt banking on this franchise. as much i like theses movies I think planning 2 more is a little much

I like the franchise, but Bell's character (Jigsaw) has to die, or the series falls into the same holes as everyone one of these horror franchsies. I was really hoping that Saw III would see the death of Jigsaw and his protege take over the torture business. Knowing that Bell signed on for IV and V kind of ruins III for me, because from what I understand, part of the plot revolves around Jigsaw forcing a doctor to keep alive. We'll probably find out at the end that Jigsaw was just faking how sick he was to pressure (i.e. torture) the doctor. Bummer.

I agree with everyone else about 1 being the best one 2 was alright and 3 was alot better than 2 but i do enjoy them all 3 I think they can pull of a 4 and 5 but i just hope they should resurect jigsaw if they do yes its possible the series will turn into another friday the 13th type movie although i guess he could come back like o b wan in star wars "use the force of the saw" luke
