"Saw IV" gets a Plot

According to FEARnet, a site affiliated with Lionsgate, the upcoming plot for Saw IV will revolve around Jeff and his daughter in the moments after the third film ended.

According to the site, Jigsaw still haunts the living in Saw IV, forcing them to appreciate life, or face death. As a continuation of Saw III, Jeff must find his daughter and escape the building to which they are confined before they both die. After finding another tape of Jigsaw, Jeff realizes there may be a newly added piece of the puzzle that he must decipher before it’s too late.

The Darren Lynn Bousman film is set to hit theaters this October.

I like the Jeff character.... so for mr this is good news, I think Jigsaw is still sarching out that perfect successor... Jeff could be it.

Yeah, you don't need a plot to film a death scene... just blood and screams.

Shouldn't the headline be "Saw IV Recycles Hell Out of Other Saw Plots", or "Saw IV Decides to Continue Tadition of Lackluster, Lazy Story Telling"?

Too on-the-nose, perhaps.

Either way, I'm sure nothing good will happen and it will lead into another identical sequel where nothing is as it seems.

A continuation of the last film, with traps and such left by Jigsaw before he died, sounds like the only possible way for this to continue without a big suspension of disbelief.

I've particularly enjoyed the Saw series and believe I will probably like this new one as well.

so....mmm...could someone tell me what happened in the 2nd and 3rd Saw?

I only have the first one and totally don't feel like seeing or buying the other movies but, would still like to know what happened.

So far I have loved all the saw movies. It seems that the series is very hit or miss with people. It makes me wonder how long it will be until I do cringe at the thought of another one.

By the way jedibanner the best way to find out what happened is to watch the movies. To sum it up for ya though. Jigsaw traps more people, tortures them, and most die gruesomely.

I do think they wil try to go the route of Jigsaw still being alive, which will probably be very gay, unless the find some smart way to do it..
