I am glad I waited for DVD for this. I have the Saw III on DVD from bargain bin at blockbuster and I can wait for same way for IV or rent it. Not worth buying. It probably would have been worth it for theater for me but too many assholes in theaters ruin the movie experience these days. I pretty much say shut the fuck up in the theater but after 5 mins they are at it again with talking and cell phones. Thank god for HD tv's. I might even on Demand the movies if they ever drop the prices to a more reasonable rate. I don't think I need the extras on this type of movie.

There's nothing like watching people tormented horribly to death in hi-def I suppose for some of our fellow Americans.

If they can figure out how to combine this with group bukkake porn torture I think Hollywood can really push their box office accounting into a hyper-mathematics realm.

Yes! All four Saw movies + Capitivity + Hostel all on DVD means a good solid 10+ hours of jerk-o-matic fun for torture porn deviants everywhere!

Dazzler, good point.

The experience of a movie theatre is always something to look for but when you have some dummass people talking while the movie is playing, it kills the mood completelly.

I must admit I once saw a movie in the US and I can say the culture in some states is very different then in Canada.

I've never been to a movie where people talked as much as that film I saw in the US. I mean, a phone call during a movie?? what the hell??

How can people be so stupid and so indiferent of people's respect is astonishing (I'm talking in general of the movie talker person, not specifically the US people here).

I was going out with this girl for a few months and when she started talking during the movie I was very disapointed she was a movie talker.

I guess in Canada most movies I've seen, I've never had someone speaking over the phone (happened a few times where people forgot but they got up automatically and went out of the theatre to speak). I just hope that people would have more respect when they go to a movie.

On the other side, I do understand that for some people, a movie is just a movie as oppose to when I go to a movie, I go for the experience, the sound, the ''coolness'' of seeing a good movie. That girl I was seeing made me understand that for soem people, the theatre is just something to do but they don't take it that seriously which might invite people to feel free to do what they would do as if they were at home.

In any case, I usually go to the theatre for specific movies, anything else can wait to be played on my surround sound home theatre tv, it's worth the wait most of the time.

The stupid comments about "torture porn" are getting tired.
If you have no interest in the movie... why comment?
Now we should start calling Friday the 13th "amputation/multilation/murder porn"
and vampire movies "blood drinking/sucking porn."

Disappointed cause she was a movie talker? lol. sounds like when Seinfeld didn't want to see the girl cause she ate the peas one at a time or any of the other things he would nit pick, lol.

I can't wait to see Saw IV on Blu Ray. Didn't catch it at the movies but I'm looking foward to seeing it at home. Enjoyed all previous 3, although they've gotten progressively worse in my opinion.

Should we start calling the Ten Commandments "religious porn" or war movies "soldier porn".
Should we start calling movies where people have sex throughout the film, no plot and cheesy music "porn"? oh wait, that one we should.

Yeah...I do find it funny that the people that have no interest in the movies always find time to comment on them. And yes the torture porn comments are wearing thin. Be original.

I liked Hostel. Hostel II was just cashing in on 1 and took it too far...just exploitation. Saw movies have decreased in quality, but I still find them entertaining..as does a wide range of people hence the box office success.
