"Saw IV" stakes claim to Halloween '07

According to the AP, Lionsgate is planning a fourth installment of the Saw franchise which is set to be released on Halloween next year.

The franchise follows the diabolical schemes of psycho killer Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), who stages elaborate, bloody games to test the moral fiber of his victims.

The original film, also released on Halloween weekend, managed $18.3 million in it's opening weekend. A new film has launched each Halloween ever since.

lets hope the series returns to the smart twists and inventice thrills that got us all the first time.

If Tobin Bell is to be believed...and the guy is a huge UFC fan, apparently, so how can you not believe him...he's signed on for Saw IV and Saw V...so maybe the whole tumor thing was a dream? Ya never know...but I can't wait to see Saw III AGAIN! :D

I`m going to see this on the weekend. On another note, what the hell is up with the 5 year old reviews and articles on some of the pages here at "Mania"?

ponyboy, Cinescape always had an archive of their reviews, going back to the days prior to the current ownership (those are the ones without letter grades). Looks like they simply brought those archives over to the new domain.
