Wow. It would take many pages to sum up the amazingly quotable lines contained within these films. I just wish there was a Spec. Ed. of TRUE LIES out there. Or COMMANDO. Vernon Wells is the shiz. Or the Wez. You be the judge.

Agreed... These movies desperately need the "double-dip" treatment, especially True Lies. These collections are just another one of those cheap discount snags, no different than all those multiple pre-special-edition Star Trek movie sets we had to deal with years ago.

Speaking of Vernon Wells. I dont know what else he has done in his career, but he had a... odd role not too many years ago. Only other charector i know of other then Commando. "Power Rangers: Time Force" playing the main villian. Wonder if his arms were real or fake for it. very muscular.

I would love to see them keep one rumor about Commando true. Back in the 80's a script and filming commenced for "Commando 2" where he works in Los Angelos with a new squad (no story line othert then that). About 3 years ago I heard a rumor floating around Hollywood that that script was being reconsidered.

If I remember the rumours correctly the Commando 2 script morphed into Die Hard.

Good choices of movies for this collection.

When I saw the headline, I was thinking "aw great, an expensive boxset with ALL of the Arnold movies packed in there" OR "Please not LAST ACTION HERO, please not LAST ACTION HERO!"

But this looks nice. I already own PREDATOR, my roommate owns TRUE LIES, and I can rent COMMANDO in the rare moments I want to watch that so no need for my breaking out my wallet on this one....

In reply to acecrisp about Vernon Wells, he's done a lot of television work, for instance you already noted his Power Rangers appearances. He was also on a lot of shows like Hunter, Knight Rider, MacGyver and the like.

He's done B movies such as Circuitry Man. Someone of course already referenced Wez, his role in The Road Warrior. He was the interchangable handed Mr. Igoe in Innerspace and played Emma Samms'fiancee Bruce in the movie Shrimp on the Barbie, starring Cheech Marin, which if you haven't seen I thought was rather enjoyable. It was fluff, a rather "Pretty Woman" type fairy tale, but enteraining nonetheless. Of course, I've always liked Cheech so...

True Lies & Commando are classics no matter how you look at them. Bottom line. And a Commando special edition is in the works.

LOved true lies, predator was fun and good action.
Commando might be his worst action movie. I'd rather see kindergarten cop or twins, and that's saying something.
