With a bit of the ol' D-ball, he'll be back in shape and good to go. I'm really looking forward to this.

An older, beaten down Conan will fit the desire for "darker" movies nicely, as he prepares to face the end.

It won't be the same without Mako though.

Sorry, as much as i love the guy, this is TERRIBLE news!

The Conan remake was pretty terrible and now thatall the original stories are in the public domain I was hoping that Conan would become like Dracula or Sherlock Holmes and we would get a slew of Conan productions, yes alot of shit, but hopefully some real gems too...

This is a HUGE step backward...

Good thing Bunyon isn't in charge because that would blow !

This is great news!  And Arnold is hungry for great movies again since he is on the ropes with his personal life which means he has to work harder.   I like this.. I like this...

Yeah isn't him being old the point.

can't be any worse than last year's movie - ugh!

But I think this would be good - I used to love the old marvel King Conan comics

I'll give anything Arnie is in a chance; maybe they'll catch lightning in a bottle here.  Besides, it might be good.  At the very least it will not be any worse than most of the other garbage Hollywood is churning out these days.  At least it will have Ahnold.

I just finished reading his latest book, and its pretty awesome, I feel like I know a lot more about the kind of man Arnold is.  One of the best parts of the book is his account of Conan being made and how it became his first big hit as the first of those killer summer '82 films.  He loved that movie and was dissapointed in what became the sequel, this is his chance to live the character again and get it done properly!

Eventually, he became king by his own hand!  The legend of Conan is something I'm really excited to see!!

I really like the heroes past their prime stories if done well.  The Dark Knight Returns and Old Man Logan come to mind as favorites in this line of storytelling.  A cameo of Brigette Neilson would be a funny nod to the canon.  It does make me want Old Man Logan to be done even more.
