The title of the article should be spoiler warning enough but we'll say it again. If you don't want to know anything spoilerish about Arnold Schwarzenegger's possibly appearing in Terminator Salvation, we advise you to exit this article.
Arnold Schwarzenegger recently confirmed the "Salvation" cameo rumors in a webcast interview with blogger Bill Bradley. The Los Angeles Times reports that the governor met with director McG and agreed to be in the movie as long as he didn't have to perform, which would have taken time away from his duties running the state of California.
“I made it very clear that I don’t have the time to do the movie,” he said. “I said that I would be willing to be in the movie if they get the technology together, and so they are working on that right now.”
In the film, a prequel to the original, Schwarzenegger would be in a brief scene in which the main character encounters him as a “future Terminator,” according to the governor.
