I prefer Arnold. Arnold has played in various movies that involved sci-fi and good satire. Last action hero was fun and kindergarden cop is memorable.

Nobody mentioned "Copland", which, next to "Rocky", was Sly's best acting role.  And I dare anyone to watch "Rocky Balboa" and not get teary-eyed when he talks about Adrian dying.

I loved Oscar, it's one of my favorite comedies.  Stalone just seemed to be having such a good time and he was surrounded by so much talent.  It's worth the price of admission just to see Tim Curry as Dr Poole, the speech teacher.

I also have a soft spot for Kindergarten Cop.

I was never even slightly interested in the Rocky movies, sorry, boxing just isn't my thing.  Give me time traveling robots or trophy hunting aliens any day.

goldeneyez: The Ralph Dungren reference was funny. His name is actually Dolph Lundgren and he's also in The Expendables.

Timothy25: I read about the original casting decision for Face/Off. I think it might have been cool that Schwarzenegger and Stallone would have starred in that movie. Apparently it was to be set in the far future. Face/Off was good with Travolta and Cage, but it probably could have worked with Schwarzenegger and Stallone as well.

Great article Hanso!  Keep it up. But i agree with most really close call. GLossing over Stallone's Demolition Man, really, its my favorite growing up. I do feel like you raped my childhood when you mention L.A.H. as a bad comedy. I think it is simply this, a great parady action movie. Every gem of stallone and ahunld is to be taken as is. 2 close to call. Predator might tip the scales Violator knows his shit son. Hanso is the real winner.
