SCOOP: Hollywood buzz for JULIUS comic book?

Yesterday we received this curious email from an anonymous tipster:
"I have to keep my identity secret, because I was busted for giving you a scoop once before. :) Still, being the movie geek I am, I wanted to let you know about this one. There's some buzz around a comic called JULIUS that comes out next month from Oni. Oni's apparently slipped it to a few people before it's actually released, and it's starting to pop up on tracking boards. It's a modern-day reworking of JULIUS CAESAR set in the gangster world. The basic plot's the same, but it definitely feels up-to-date. Don Cheadle and Ja Rule are sniffing around it supposedly."
The JULIUS graphic novel was written by Antony Johnston and drawn by Brett Weldele. Set in the world of British gangsters (and we know Cheadle can do one of those accents after seeing OCEAN'S ELEVEN), JULIUS is the name of a rising star in the Brit world of crime. The gang leader possesses such charisma that former rival gang families are now considering merging into one syndicate under his leadership. Still, just as Shakespeare's play unfolded, there are those close to Julius that have begun to conspire behind his back.
The 152-page graphic novel is scheduled for release on March 31 -- which may be a couple of weeks after the infamous ides of March, but at least it's still within the same calendar month that the assassination of Julius Caesar took place in.
