SCOOP: Salerno's a scribe on ALIEN VS. PREDATOR

An anonymous scooper wrote in with a tip we looked into, and we got it confirmed: screenwriter Shane Salerno (SHAFT, ARMAGEDDON) will receive co-writer credit on ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. Previously we believed that the film's director, Paul W.S. Anderson, was the only credited writer on the project but it appears Salerno performed a rewrite on the script in its development process.

Salerno is also the writer of the latest GHOST RIDER movie script, still in development at Columbia Pictures. ALIEN VS. PREDATOR is still targeting an August 6 release.
