SCOOP: What's the word on CITY OF HEROES?

Ever since Coming Attractions took over news providing duties here at CINESCAPE, the vast majority of scoops have dealt with movie projects in development. That's all well and good but one of the mandates of CINESCAPE has been to provide news and reviews for all aspects of what's cool entertainment, be it from the worlds of toys, collecting, conventions, comic books or video games. We would love to publish more scoops about games, whether they be inside reports, tips about news stories or reports from readers who have been involved in the beta testing phase of a game (it's just like being in a test audience movie screening.) Thanks to the efforts of a reader, we've been given our first taste of what to expect from the new massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that lets you become a superhero, CITY OF HEROES.

Here's what the scooper had to say to us:

"I'm amazed that you guys haven't been reporting much about the new MMORPG, CITY OF HEROES. Seems like it'd be right up your ally.

"Anyway, the beta for the game officially ended last night and the game is set to go live for preorders on Sunday. The game will officially go live for everyone else on Wednesday.

"Great game, by the way.... I've never played any other game that even comes close to making me feel like a Superhero as this game does. :-)"
